The energies and creative abilities that Naples has always released in the enhancement of cultural heritage, in the production of culture and entertainment are at the basis of the choice to host in Campania, in the Vanvitellian Villa Campolieto in Ercolano, place of the Festival of the Vesuvian Villas, and in other locations in Naples and Campania, the Master in Cultural Management (Cu.Ma.) specifically designed for the entertainment sector: live entertainment, cinema, television, cultural events, new media. In these areas, although there is a consolidated organizational tradition, new managerial skills are required, respecting artistic creation, to pursue objectives of effectiveness and efficiency.

Professional Profile
The managerial management for performing arts requires new skills and corporate tools. In cultural institutions there is a need for professionals who combine a solid cultural background and technical knowledge with strong managerial and organizational skills.
In the job market, realistic employment opens up for the professional profile of the cultural manager. This professional must possess both general management notions and specialized skills, relating to the regulations and procedures of the performing arts, events communication, administrative management, fund raising.

Job positions
One of the School goals is the placement of its graduates in positions related to the training experience in companies and public and private bodies, consultancy companies and other Italian and international organizations. The School carries out an intense activity to support the best entering of master’s graduates into the world of work, searching for the most interesting opportunities, consistent with the training course.
To this, Placement Books and a series of information and liaison services have been developed for previous editions, aimed at facilitating entry into the job market.
The job opportunities are found in public and private cultural institutions, local and regional authorities, consultancy. The course also constitutes a solid formation for the work of publicist specialized in cultural and artistic events.

Applicants
Young graduates, graduates of Conservatory or Fine Arts Academy or National Academy of Dance or National Academy of Dramatic Art or other equivalent qualifications. Among the preferential requirements: knowledge of the English language and / or other languages, study and / or work experience related to the subjects of the Master.

Program structure
The full time course has a total duration of 1200 hours, divided into:
– 484 hours classroom training (History of the arts; Analysis of the entertainment sector; Entertainment legislation; Strategy; Organization and management of human resources; Entertainment marketing; Accounting; Management control; Project management and Business Plan; IT and web communication; Business English; Testimonials)
– 96 hours specialization activities
– 220 hours artistic-organizational project, during which the participants will take care of the production, organization, sponsorship and preparation of an event, made up of work groups balanced between all the figures in training. This “simulation” will highlight the practical problems under the creation and organization of a show, to allow learners a first experience in the field
– 400 hours internship in important Italian and international institutions, at theatres, companies, consultancy companies and bodies involved in the organization and management of cultural projects.
Participants, for the achievement of the Master Diploma, are required to have an effective attendance of at least 80% of the total number of hours (8 h/day from Monday to Friday).
